Winter Soup: Lentils&Wurst

Hi everyone!  Finally winter has arrived! After a warm start January is dressing with snow our towns and what's better than an healthy and earthy soup in these days? Lentils are full of iron and minerals and if you add also some chicken wurst you'll get a nice protein bomb :-)

Here the ingredients:


In a deep sauce pan add 2 tbs EVOO oil and 2 cloves of garlic. Let it sizzle for a couple of minute. Then add 2 small onions,  the lentils, 4-5 cherry tomatoes and 2 allorum leaves. Cover up with cold water (double the volume of the lentils and add a bit of vegetables stock.


Let it cook for about 35 minutes and then add the wurst for the last 5 minutes of cooking.
